Welcome to GFBRobot!

Welcome to our new site, Giant Fire Breathing Robot! After a year operating as our old self, Tabletop Quality, we realized that name no longer represented who we were and what we wanted to talk about. Our focus had shifted away from miniatures wargaming, and more onto board games and various bits of geek culture. To better support this new, broader focus, we wanted a name that was just as broad, and spoke to our various interests. In some movies, games, comics, and even music, you can find a giant robot wreaking havoc at some point or another. That’s what we usually do to any topic we try to talk about, so we figured the name would fit.

Take some time to read our first posts: a collection of our contributors’ first geek experiences. Hopefully this will give you a chance to get to know how we became the lovable nerds we are today.
