Geek or Weak: AT-AT Walker Home Theater Cable Management System
OK, you’ve already ticked me off with that loooooong name. If I don’t have time to organize my cables, I definitely don’t have time to ramble off that name. If it has a lame name, jazz it up to cover the fact that it has a lame name. How about Kick Ass Cable Kozy? …Er… you get my point.
Well OK then, let’s review.
So this is an AT-AT shaped home electronics cable organizer……yeah I guess that’s all there is to it.
I actually like the intention, if not the execution. For one thing: it’s particle board. Wouldn’t it be better in some sort of moulded material, maybe even something you could paint? Particle board is just cheap. But, maybe that’s the idea. Practically speaking, if I were just looking for a box to hold all my cables… Uh… I’d just get a box. But if the idea is to show it off, and I’m assuming that’s the intention here, then for geeks-sake give us something show worthy.

I totally call “weak” on this one. I get that it’s supposed to be decorative, but any cable storage solution that takes up more room than the cables it’s supposed to store? Not my geek dream object.
Weak as Phawk! And, it looks like it will fall over anytime you walk past it, so it will be a dead At-At, which is even lamer.
It kinda looks like a sad puppy.
Only less cool than a sad puppy, which is the opposite of cool to begin with.
