Pyronauts Episode 4: Levi Never Had a Childhood
Podcast: Play in new window | Download (Duration: 1:17:01 — 70.5MB)
Welcome, one and all, as our idiotic brave and foolish fearless band of no-hopers adventurers continue to brave the wilds of no sorry I can’t go on. That was too painful, even by my standards.
It’s Pyronauts episode 4, people. You know the deal.
We’re travelling light again this episode, as Conor was unable to make it in time. That means you’ll have to make do with just me, Levi, and Little Andrew, aka callmemerry.
We start out with a summary of our gang’s progress on their Four in February games. Sadly, real life reared its head and essentially took Andrew out of the running. He’s bravely volunteered to take on a suitably unpleasant game. We’ll be deciding which one in due course.
I’ll not spoil the exact details of where everyone has managed to get with their games; instead I’ll let you listen to the podcast to get the lowdown. Keep your eyes on the site, because I’ll also be getting a post up once the month ends, running down how everything went, and just exactly what game the loser, or losers, will have to play through, or suffer through.
We also stumble across the horrifying fact that Levi missed out on a whole generation of games due to not having a Super Nintendo. The poor man’s never played Secret of Mana. He’s never finished a Zelda game for goodness’ sake! I think it’s no exaggeration to say that he never had a childhood.
We spend the main body of the show discussing Sony’s PlayStation Meeting from last week. They unveiled the PlayStation 4 without actually, you know, showing it. Regardless, they laid out their plans for the next generation as well as trotting out a bevy of developers and publishers to show off the support they’ve got lined up for the console. It’s safe to say we’re cautiously excited without being blown away.
We’ll be back again in two week’s time. If you’ve got any comments, questions or suggestions, then please hit the comments below. You can also reach the team on Twitter – Levi is @biggunsfowler, Little Andrew is @atgrys and Conor is @atlasimpure. You could also email me at craig@gfbrobot.com.

Way to call me out.
Yup, I can confirm I was entirely childhoodless.
Not to self- good rapping name: Child Hoodless.
Certainly a better handle than your current Twitter name.
