Adam, Aaron, and Andrew are joined by none other than Jessica! Those of you who wrote in on the listener survey and asked for her should be rejoicing right about now. She fills us in on her upcoming web series and then joins the guys to talk about the latest Games Workshop trademark nonsense, the latest in 3D printers, and the announcement that there will be Star Wars movies about side characters.

Alternatives to GW:
Privateer Press, makers of Warmachine and Hordes. Great, great games. The models are cool as well. Lower model count armies than GW.
Malifaux, crazy innovative mechanics. Very stylized models. I’m not a huge fan of the genre, but the rules are very worth it to look into.
Kings of War, apparently designed by a former GW designer. According to those who know, the rules are similar to GW rules, but streamlined. The rules are free on Mantic Games website. High model count games and the models are incredibly inexpensive. A two-player starter box has near 90 models and runs $75. Though I’ve never played it, it seems that it’s meant to run high model count games. Not sure how well it scales down.
What is the name of Jessica’s web series? Love your show! Thanks!
Nick: All good recommendations. I’ve also found there are a ton of people getting into the minis game market, more every day it seems. I’ll try to remember to do a roundup on the show of smaller games that people can turn to
BSGO: The show is Girl Girl Trouble Time, and you can learn more at girlgirltroubletime.com. We’ll try to have Jes back for a proper interview closer to the series’ launch date.
Thanks for listening!
“No post show, you assholes”?!
WTF?!
Well…I NEVER!
HRMP!!
Fabio, you completely mis-heard me. I did NOT say “No post show, you assholes.” I would NEVER say that.
What I said was, “No post show, assholes.” The ‘you’ was implied, but not spoken.
Get it right
