SHIELD Cast Continues to Grow

Over the second half of this year casting announcements for ABC’s upcoming S.H.I.E.L.D. series have been trickling in. Now, The Hollywood Reporter is breaking news that the series has found an actress for the sixth and final member of its regular cast. Chloe Bennet, who some will know from her small role as Hailey in ABC’s Nashville, has joined S.H.I.E.L.D. as Skye. Described as, “a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it,” Skye is also said to be edgy and able to, “out-talk anyone with her unflappable nature.”
Bennet joins the list of actors already in the ensemble including Ming-Na, Clark Gregg, Brett Dalton, Elizabeth Henstridge and Ian De Caestecker.
