Join in Double Fine’s Design Process with the Newest Humble Bundle
If you’re at all familiar with the track record of Tim Schafer’s studio, you know that you never know what to expect from them next. This year, the people who brought you Psychonauts, Costume Quest, and Iron Brigade are not only letting you see their annual process of deciding on their next project, but also letting you be a part of it. If you head on over to the official website, you’ll notice they’ve teamed up with Humble Bundle to bring you in on the action of Amnesia Fortnight, an annual two-week-long venture at Double Fine that involves employees pitching their game ideas, the rest of the team voting on them, the top picks being prototyped, the team voting again, and the winner becoming the team’s new project with the idea’s visionary at the head.
Sounds awesome, right? For a contribution of $1 or more, you can not only see this year’s pitches and vote for your four favorites, but also watch the documentary of their development over the next few weeks and play the prototypes upon completion. As usual, you can choose what percentage of your contribution goes to charity, the developer, and the crew at Humble Bundle. Follow the link above quickly; you only have until Sunday (Nov 25th) at 11:59 PST to donate and vote for the projects you like best. When you’re done, head back here and let us know where your votes went in the comments.
