Assassin’s Creed 3 Launch Trailer Kills British (and Historical Accuracy)
I think the reason I sometimes get upset at Assassin’s Creed 3 messing with the American War for Independence is that America has precious little history to speak of as it is, so it just seems like a shame to go tinkering with it. Never mind; I think Ubisoft would have been pushing their luck to get another game out of European history, at least one with factions easily identifiable as “good” or “evil”.
After the let-down that was Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, I’m less enthused about this new game than I have been for previous entries in the series. That said, If it means I can get my hands on more of the excellent multiplayer, I’m all for it.
Anyway, the final launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 has just been released. It teases a little more of protagonist Connor’s origins, and a tiny bit of how he joins the Assassin Order. You’ll also get a glimpse at Connor interacting with history in a non-canonical way, meeting a certain Mr. George Washington.
Assassin’s Creed 3 is coming to PC, Playstation3, and Xbox 360 on October 30th, which means it should be on the shelves by the time you read this.
