Yet Another Halo 4 Launch Trailer

This time, with actual gameplay! Admittedly, it’s edited in between a lot of the cutscene stuff that’s been doing the rounds since E3, but that’s hardly surprising. In actual fact, there’s more cut scene footage than in-game footage. Disappointing, but standard for your average AAA-title today.
I may have missed something, but until now I was under the impression that you weren’t going to be fighting actual Forerunners, just some kind of artificial life left behind by them, much as they left behind everything else of theirs in the galaxy, ever, apparently. This new launch trailer corrects my mistake, by having the Forerunners declare themselves.
Which brings me to a point: is it appropriate to call yourselves Forerunners? I mean, that seems rather presumptuous, and not a little big-headed. Surely “Forerunner” is a title that should really only be applied retroactively, once you’re gone?
Mind you, they don’t seem particularly pleasant people, so maybe they’re just as happy to murder the rules of grammar as they are lesser species? Aliens man, am I right? Yeah, I’m right.
Regardless, Halo 4 is released on November 4th worldwide, so I guess we’ll all find out then.
