Firefall Fest Lets You Watch Celebrities At Play. In Game.
Okay, I’ll admit, that title was a bit cheap, but I have to do something to make up for forgetting about this one. I’m so bad, even Andrew had to remind me. The shame.
As it’s been a while since I spoke about Firefall, the excellent MMO/FPS/PVP hybrid, you may have forgotten about it as well. If so, I apologise profusely. Not to worry though, because you can watch a veritable plethora of geek icons and celebrities livestreaming their experiences in-game, starting today and running until Saturday the 27th.
Beginning at 10am PST today and running until 1PM (which may well have passed by the time this goes live, for which I apologise yet again) professional gamer and self-proclaimed ‘Best Gamer in the World’ Athene, along with his cohort Reese will be taking the stage. Later tonight though, things get really interesting when the mighty Wil Wheaton and the lovely Felicia Day take their turn from 3PM to 6PM PST.
The cycle continues from today onwards until Saturday, at which time the final livestream will be online from 3PM to 6PM PST and features none other than the one and only Nathan Fillion. Joining Captain Reynolds Mr. Castle Nathan will be former presenter of G4′s Attack of the Show!, the delectable Alison Haislip.
The full list of people with livestreams can be seen over on the Firefall website, so go and check it out, as there are some interesting people on there. I’ll be making time to check in on the Extra Credits gang on Friday.
