Minecraft Xbox 360 1.8.2 Update Released
So, the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft has been trucking on for a while now, doing very well for itself. Up until now, however, I’ve not really been that interested in picking it up. The content in the 360 version version has, quite naturally, lagged behind the PC version and that’s been somewhat of a sticking point for me.
Which makes me pleased to report that the newest update, version 1.8.2 brings the 360 versions almost completely in line with the PC version.
I’m fairly certain I’ll be picking this up for Xbox now. Outside of mod support, it has pretty much everything that the PC does, along allowing me to not leave my sofa to enjoy it. I’ll not bother pasting in the full list of changes, seeing as there’s an awful lot of them, but the addition of a full Creative Mode, Hunger, NPC Villages, Abandoned Mineshafts, Strongholds and Ravines is quite enough for me.
You can get the full list of changes on Mojang’s site.
