First Campaign DLC for Borderlands 2 Coming Next Week
Following on the heels of a week-early update adding a new class to Borderlands 2, Gearbox has announced the first campaign add-on for the game will arrive on Tuesday. That’s right, people, we can get excited about October 16th again! If you have purchased the season pass, you’re covered, but otherwise, this will cost about $10, or 800 MSP, depending on your preferred platform.

This content pack, titled Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, will send you to a new area of Pandora: once a sprawling Oasis, but now, by the looks of it, just sand. You can race around in this fresh piece of wasteland in the new sand skiff vehicle, running over yet unfimiliar enemies, including pirates and sand worms, along the way. No official word on whether it will raise the level cap or not, but we will follow up with more details next week.
