The Humble Indie Bundle 6 is live

Okay, surely you know how this works by now?

The Humble Indie Bundle regularly brings together a collection of the finest indie games in recent memory and offers them to you, the consumer, at a price point you set yourself. You can download each game direct, or via redeemable Steam keys.

Yes, that does mean you can pay as little as $0.01, although it would make you a massive tool. Also, payments of less than $1.00 won’t receive Steam keys.

This time round, the bundle comprises Rochard, Shatter, the troll-baitingly named S.P.A.Z. (or Space Pirates And Zombies), Torchlight and Vessel. If you pay over the average donation amount; a measly $5.75 at time of writing, you’ll also receive Dustforce. There’s also the small matter of soundtracks for each of the games in the bundle.

Each of the games apart from Vessel are Mac, Linux and Windows compatible, and Vessel’s Linux version is due in a day or two. It would cost you $80-something to buy all of the game separately, so there’s almost no reason not to buy the bundle, especially given that part of the proceeds from each sale goes to the Child’s Play charity and to the Electronic Frontier Foundation.
