Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Offers G1 Optimus Prime

Okay, I’m not going to lie, this one gave me a raging geek-boner.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is currently in development by High Moon Studios and is due for release at the end of August for PC, PS3 and Xbox. Pre-order the game now at Gamestop and you’ll receive a Generation 1 Optimus Prime skin for both singleplayer and multiplayer modes of the game. It’s worth pointing out that other retailers are offering other bonuses.
Gamers in the UK can unlock Swoop for multiplayer if they pre-order from Play.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the sequel to the surprisingly good War for Cybertron, released in 2010. I say “surprisingly good” because past Transformers games haven’t been particularly well received. Mostly because they were a bit naff.
The game occupies its own universe, canon-wise, but is set during the final days of the obligatory civil war between Autobots and Decepticons. Players will control both sides over the course of the story, culminating in the Transformers’ exodus from their home planet.
A demo for the game is available now on both Xbox Live and Playstation Network.
