SDCC 2012 Photos: Saturday & Sunday

You know I love my conventions, so not even an unfortunate detour back to Seattle could prevent me from making a return to one of my favorite events of the year. While I’d miss the entirety of Friday and the exhibit hall hours on Saturday, my evening flight back to the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con arrived with enough time for me to scope out the late night costuming scene.

As for Sunday, the show went out with a bang! The floors were still packed to the aisles with attendees of all ages and sizes. I was unable to cover sights outside of the exhibit hall after losing my badge near the start of the day, but I made the best of a bad situation by focusing on the fun of cosplay hunting. Believe me, there are waaaaaaaaaay worse places to be stuck than the SDCC exhibit hall! Here’s a glimpse of what I saw during my last few hours at SDCC 2012:

The Enchantress in the dark world of San Diego.

For some kids, Comic-Con is like Halloween without the candy.

Rule 63 Kratos looks much better than God of War’s actual leading SOB.

Scorpion and Sub-Zero will finish your taxes.

Iron Man and War Machine were just another victim to the Predator.

I wonder if this is Justin Timberlake disguising himself as another Sesame Street star…

Will the Mandarin ever face Tony Stark on the big screen?

Yaya Han as Street Fighter’s leading lady.

The Avengers has made Black Widow cosplay nearly as popular as Poison Ivy.

Even the guys are getting in on it.

Hello-douken!

An Argonian fast traveled all the way from Skyrim to attend SDCC.

The Venture Sisters are here to save the day!

The new suit of armor from Iron Man 3 was a popular photo op at Marvel’s exhibit.

A fine alternative look for World War II Captain America.

They’ll be back.

The awesome demon cosplayer from last year returned with more friends from Coffin Creek.

Thanks for the adventure, Carl.

A Chestburster has been assimilated to the Borg Collective.

Got pig’s blood?

Somewhere in San Diego, Robert Pattinson sheds a tear.

Check out the pythons on little Hulk!

I’m David Ngo, and this is my favorite Shepard cosplayer in the convention center.

Little Edward finally got his real hands.

“EXCELSIOR!”

Power Girl cosplayers of the world still avoid that horrid New 52 redesign.

There better be a giant golden ticket in that Wonka Bar.

Avengers + Playboy bunnies = A real crowd-pleaser.

I’m sure many fanboys would love to be the handsome prince to Riddle’s Snow White.

He’s got the whole world… in his hands!

Wait till he gets his Hanes on you.

The Baseball Furies are ready for the Warriors to come out and play.

Cyclops becomes the latest mutant to undergo a secondary mutation.

“OH YEAH!”

Now that’s Progressive.

The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.

Man I hope the Iron man costume is not the one they are gonna use for the next movie, looks like some Toblerone themed. The girl in the snow white costume is pretty hot!
