News: Spiel and Kennerspiel des Jahres Announced

There’s big news in the world of gaming. The Spiel des Jahres for 2012 was announced. The jury came back and awarded the Game of the Year to Kingdom Builder by Donald X. Vaccarino (the designer of 2009 SdJ winner Dominion). The Kennerspiel, or enthusiast’s game, was awarded to Village. Congrats to the designers and publishers!

Days of Wonder has announced that a new printing of Mystery of the Abbey (which has been out of print for some time) can be expected in late August of this year.
