The Last of Us Cinematic

Over the years, the San Diego Comic-Con has become about much more than just comics. It’s very much a launching platform for anything geek-related, videogames included.
And so it is that Sony has chosen this year’s SDCC to unveil new footage from their upcoming game, The Last of Us.
Developed by Naughty Dog, makers of the Uncharted series, The Last of Us is set in a post-apocalyptic world where the deeply disturbing fungus Cordyceps has jumped species to humans and left the planet devastated.
In this brief cinematic, protagonists Joel and Ellie have encountered Bill, a fellow survivor who appears to share a history with Joel.
There’s not much to it, I’ll admit, but the quality of the voice acting and motion capture is apparent; no surprise for the company behind Uncharted.
