Have you ever known one of those crazy old women who always has a fresh manicure of some incredibly detailed thing on long, intense fake nails? That was my 4th grade teacher. She was bat-shit crazy, but we loved her. Her crazy nails earned her the nickname “Wolverine” by her awestruck students. She never did Star Trek nails though.
XOJane collected some examples of fantastic geeky nail art for your perusal. I personally cannot fathom spending tons of time, money, and effort on personal beauty… at least, not normally. But I’m very tempted by some of these designs… maybe I’ll paint my nails for PAX.
