Several weeks ago, I was able to play Die Macher. Die Macher is a classic game from the 80s (ah, the 80s) about German provincial political elections. It’s a grand-daddy euro and predates Settlers of Catan by nearly a decade. It has always had a high ranking on BGG and has an excellent reputation on the geek. But is it worth playing?
