Fox Looking to Let It Go With Zachary Levi
Like many other fans of NBC’s recently ended Chuck, I have been looking forward to the projects that the various cast members will be working on now. Chuck star Zachary Levi is making the jump first with a new Fox comedy currently titled Let It Go. Let It Go will be a half hour comedy written by DJ Nash with Executive Producers Nash, Peter Tolan, and Michael Wimer. According to the Deadline article that broke the story, the show will be “about a married couple, the husband played by Levi, his best friend and her sister as they try to navigate, negotiate and sometimes manipulate society’s unspoken rules.”
Although I am not quite sure what it means to negotiate and manipulate society’s unspoken rules, the idea of Levi starring in a half hour comedy is good in my opinion. Levi’s comedic chops were honed significantly over Chuck’s run, and if they are able to cast a female lead with close to the charisma of Yvonne Strahovski, then Levi should be more than able to hold his own.
