Primal Carnage: DX11 Video

It occurred to me the other day that the only thing cooler than dinosaurs was Dinosaur Lego. Then it occurred to me that the only thing cooler than Dinosaur Lego was an FPS game where you could play as either a bloodthirsty dinosaur hunting mercenaries, or as a cash-hungry mercenary hunting dinosaurs.

It was a slow day.

Primal Carnage is the game to answer that painfully thin anecdote. It’s been on my watch list for a while now, I managed to get a look at it in person at PAX Prime, and I even had a hands-on with the mobile version of the game, sadly still unreleased.

The game itself is a multiplayer FPS game, where you choose to play as either a human or dinosaur in team deathmatches. The gameplay is class-based, with different species of dinosaurs acting as classes on the Saurian side of things.

The team behind Primal Carnage have just released a video showing off just how good the game looks under DirectX 11 and 9 graphics. And it does look good:

Not too sure about the T-Rex’s roar though, still sounds a bit too elephant-like. But that’s probably just me being picky.
