Dark Horse Presents #9 Advanced Preview

Dark Horse Comics strives to bring some of the best talent in the business into your hands month in and month out with Dark Horse Presents, and DHP#9 is no exception.

This month’s issue features the return of superstar Paul Pope as he tells the tale of an assassin stalking her prey aboard the world’s largest pirate ship in Amala’s Blade. Also, Mike Mignola’s hard-core pulp hero Lobster Johnson unleashes vengeance upon the evils of the world. You can also see a brand new prose story by Andrew Vachss, with illustrations by Geof Darrow, a sneak preview of Caitlin R. Kiernan’s Alabaster, and the next chapter in Brian Wood’s The Massive.

Other writers and artists featured in DHP#9 are Neal Adams, M. J. Butler, Steve Horton, Tony Puryear, Michael Dialynas, Kristian Donaldson, Joe Querio, Mark Wheatley, Thomas Yeates and Steve Lieber.

The 80 page anthology hits shelves around the world on February 22, 2012 with a cover price of US $7.99.
