Bruno Faidutti, one of the designers of Red November, has posted approval on his blog about special characters created for his game. The special characters, found on Dylan’s RPG and Nerdery Blog, provide unique special powers and hindrances for each character similar to what you might see in Pandemic or Battelstar Galactica. Definitely worth a look for Red November fans.

The Thunderstone Advance previews continue to roll out. Now, experience will no longer be just for leveling up your heroes, but instead will have multiple uses. One such use, will be in obtaining and using your familiar. You can see all of the new uses revealed so far at the Advance site.
That same site has also revealed a new board complete with locations for Village cards and the Dungeon – as well as a new Wilderness side that treats light differently.

Nightfall fans, rejoice as the previews for Coldest War continue to be released. I was happy to see the above card among those previewed. It looks like we are going to see minions being equipped. Even though minions are discarded after attacking, I think this kind of customization will be a welcome addition to the game.
