Sci-Fi-Themed Brothel to Open Outside of Las Vegas

I’ve never been to Vegas, but I always thought the themes sounded kind of lame. I mean, an Egyptian-themed hotel is a novel idea, but it’s not exactly a destination for someone who isn’t that into gambling, such as myself. But a sci-fi club? That is something I would possibly make a trip for.

CBS Las Vegas reports that “Alien Cathouse,” currently being renovated, is 90 miles northwest of Las Vegas. Owner Dennis Hof, of the famous Bunny Ranch, bought the brothel and a nearby bar, convenience store, and gas station. The brothel will have sci-fi-themed decor and costumes, and the convenience store will have an Area 51 theme. This is Hof’s fifth brothel license, the most ever owned by a single person. Hof plans to cater to geeky fantasies, and hopes for input by the likes of William Shatner and other industry veterans.

Will there be green-skinned Orion slave women, or an asari? It will be interesting to see how far they take the theme, and how much business they get. And maybe, just maybe, if sci-fi sex sells, they’ll open a hotel or casino with a similar theme.

They’re going to need dozens of copies of Leia’s slave bikini…

Well, it seems like catering to sex starved geeks (stereotype alert!) would be a lucrative bonanza.

But then, someone isn’t going to speak their alien language fluently and the internet boards will be filled with nerd rage.

Tread carefully, geek brothel. It’s all in the details.

I never realized how much I liked green women until I saw this article.
