Contest: Win a Slice of “Life in Roburbia” from Adam Levermore
So you remember Adam Levermore, right? (Yeah, we mean THAT guy.) As longtime followers of us here at GFBR can attest, getting one of the posters he designed for us is nigh-impossible, usually taking me around eight months to actually remember to ship them out. Wouldn’t it be great if you could get an awesome poster directly from the man himself? One that you wouldn’t have to wait 8 months for? One that had an awesome retro robot feel?

That’s exactly what we’re doing. One lucky winner is going to receive a limited edition At the Roburbia Cafe print completely free, courtesy of Adam. What’s that? He’s the man? You’re right, he is! One note I want to make, however: I purchased one of these for myself, and when it arrived I was amazed at how much awesomer it is in person than the picture above gets across. The colors just pop on this bad boy, and I guarantee if you have this in your office, you WILL be the envy of your nerdy colleagues.
And here’s the best part for some of you. Let’s say you don’t trust your luck, but you want one of these bad boys for yourself. Fret not, he’s selling them at his new Roburbia site, along with cards featuring other robot illustrations. If you’re like me, you know this easy math: robots + Levermore = awesome. Go check out his stuff, buy copious amounts of his products, and have a crack at winning this awesome print right now.
All you have to do is drop a comment on this post, and we’ll draw one lucky winner to receive a copy of the poster. Simple as that! (You only get credit for entering once, so while you can comment as much as you like, we’ll remove any dupes before we draw the winner.) We’ll draw our winner at 11:59 p.m. Pacific time on Friday, December 2.
But wait, there’s more! For those of you in the Los Angeles area, why not stop by and say hi to Adam personally? He’s going to be appearing at Meltdown Comics in LA on Friday, December 2. Get more details by doing what a mouse button was invented to do.
That is some nice robot drawing!
“COMMENT!” Yah right, no I love thees prints because they tend to humanize the robots and retro robots are cool. Aint that right Twiggie?
I have one of these so not entering but I have to agree with how incredibly awesome this print looks in person. The colours are just amazing. You’d be crazy not to enter…or crazy not to buy one if you don’t win!
Comment. Comment. Comment. Very nice print.
It’s an amazing print. Would look really good in my wife’s office(she loves robots).
Would love to have this print to class up my place. Looks Great.
Comment! My desk suffers for not being under this print!
Robot!
If not now, when? If not robots, then…what? Elves?!?! Phthtbbbb!
I need this.
I am proud to announce that I’m here from the podcast. I’ll proudly display it next to my GFBrobot poster! Even better, in my bedroom so my wife and I can wake up to it every morning and think of Andrew’s kidney stones.
I need this poster, sir!! This is my new favorite podcast.
This poster needs a home at my desk at work <3
LOVE the print!!
…great cooking show! We really enjoy the podcast out here in eastern Oregon. Let ‘er buck!
Why isn’t he drinking motor oil? Television has led me to believe that’s what robots drink…
Retro robot cafe. Who wouldn’t think this is awesome?
Beautiful. I want to go to there with that amazing poster! And by “there,” I mean “the art supply store” so I can frame that beautiful thing!
Ooooh, shiny!
I quit. Does that make me eligible to win this now?
Dear Craig Withers,
Your letter of resignation has been received and rejected. You will write for The Robot until the end of forever. And you’ll like it. So there. Neener, neener.
Now, Back To Work, You! Or we’ll start to dock your pay. Which, basically means that you start to pay us.
Respectfuly,
