She blinded me…with SCIENCE!

The Smithsonian Channel is having a month-long series of shows about Women in Science, to coincide with Women’s history month. The episodes will feature some of the world’s greatest female scientists working to save the planet, or in one case, “Decode Immortality”.

You thought it couldn’t get more exciting, but wait! The Smithsonian Channel has also commissioned a series of webcomics to go along with the shows. The comics are written by Mallory Murphy, drawn by Gerard Conte, inked by Kevin Colden, and lettered by Arnold Hidaka. The comics as well as some of the shows are available now at the Smithsonian Channel’s website. Plus, the site has a short quiz to help you discover your inner “Scientific Superheroine.” The quiz is quite amusing, and it’s fun to plug in different answers for different results and learn about even more women who are making great discoveries in science. The episodes will air on Sundays at 8pm EST/PST.
