Amazon.com’s All Video Game Gold Box, Wednesday, Feb. 23
As is their wont from time to time, Amazon.com will be filling their Gold Box deals of the day with video games and related accessories on Wednesday, February 23.If you haven’t seen these before, it’s an interesting, and quite tempting, sales event.
Beginning at 12:01 am PST, Amazon puts up an item somehow video game related at a discount, which is available for two hours or until their supply runs out. After two hours, the next item becomes available for another two hours, the process continuing in this way throughout the day.
Descriptions of the upcoming deals can be previewed beforehand, but Amazon makes it a little tricky and alluring by describing them in almost riddle-like fashion, revealing its identity only when it becomes available. They also have a video game “Deal of the Day” that runs the whole day, while supplies last.
Typically these have a wide variety of games appealing to several different kinds of gamers, so it’s likely something will catch your interest. Here’s hoping you notice it before its two hour window passes! If nothing else, it’s fun to look at the clues and try to guess what’s coming up later in the day, so have fun with that.
