A Photographic Look at the Presidency Of JFK
Today, The Big Picture devotes its post to the presidency of John F. Kennedy. He was elected 50 years ago this month. I figured the history geeks out there would enjoy taking a look at these photographs.
My personal favorite of the group shows Kennedy talking to the people of Berlin on June 26, 1963. I love the sea of people, and have been trying to figure out what the white stripe on the left side is … a raised platform? US Navy? Nurses? I can’t quite tell.
