Enchanting Film: Be Linen
Around our house, an exciting Sunday is one where we can park ourselves in front of the Discovery Channel to watch a How It’s Made marathon. If you enjoy that flavor of geekery, you’re going to love this beautifully shot film by Benoit Millot. It looks at how linen fabric is made, starting all the way back from the seeds that grow the flax plants. It really is visually stunning, and the hypnotic French narration (it’s subtitled in English) doesn’t hurt, either.
